D2015 will be remembered for its soaring temperatures when the scorching summer heat called for early harvesting. To counterbalance the ripeness of this very hot vintage, Champagne Jacquart created a blend of Premiers and Grands Crus from the Côte des Blancs - Chouilly, Oger, Avize and Le Mesnil sur Oger – but also from the Montagne de Reims, in Villers-Marmery and Trépail, where the House headed in search of fresh, subtle Chardonnays. The resultant Champagne is very ethereal and expresses soft freshness. A challenge that proved all the more difficult considering the weather that year.

Subtly zesty but with its hallmark finesse, the Champagne gives the nose a wake-up call with its energy before enveloping it in notes of white flowers, buttercups and wild plants. On the palate, the supple, fresh attack leads into fine effervescence supported by a lemony acidity that is almost soft, once again underscoring its impeccable balance. The Champagne reveals substantial purity, developing over extensive length across the ethereal part of the palate, showcased by a fleshy aftertaste.
