A harmonious alliance of three varieties
Chardonnay:
A white grape variety with white juice. The slow evolution of Chardonnay makes a valuable contribution to effective ageing of the wines.
Its slight predominance in the JACQUART blends endows the wines with finesse, freshness and length on the palate.
Pinot Noir:
This variety produces a black-skin grape with white juice.
It gives the wine body and power, plus red-fruit flavours.
The majority of our Pinot Noir grapes come from the Aube area and give JACQUART wines their light structure and ethereal quality.
Pinot Meunier:
This is a black variety with white juice that evolves more quickly.
It gives the wine roundness and an intense bouquet, accompanied by fruity flavours.
