A champagne of renown

The reputation and recognition of JACQUART
are embodied in the allegorical figure of La Renommée (Fame) riding her winged horse, Pegasus.

The image has appeared on every bottle of Champagne JACQUART since the house was established, symbolising the development of the brand and the quality of its wines. Today, it also represents the international success of JACQUART and echoes its values of elegance and style.
In Greek mythology, La Renommée or The Fame Renown is a winged deity, daughter of the Earth and along with Hermes, the messenger of Zeus. At the beginning of the 18th century, French sculptor, Antoine Coysevox, reinterpreted this theme in his masterpiece of Carrera marble that symbolised the renown of the Sun King, Louis XIV. The sculpture still stands in the Tuileries gardens, proclaiming the power of the French king, the influence of French culture that spread across the world throughout history and, with it, the spread of French art de vivre.
