The blend, a focus on style
Blending is an art, the culmination of several tasting sessions that begin in December and then carry on through to the creation of a sample in January and then the cuvée itself in February.
It is a team effort and consists not only in appreciating the subtleties of each of the year’s wines and anticipating the way they might evolve over time, but also in identifying the reserve wines that will contribute to the consistency of the JACQUART wine style.
The three varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier from the various crus, terroirs and years are united to form a harmonious whole.
